Neurology is an exciting field. The tools at our disposal continue to evolve. While we utilize the latest tools for diagnosis and therapy, at the same time we recognize that every patient is an individual with unique needs and circumstances. We approach each case with individualized focus and compassion.

Some of the tools we utilize for diagnosis include the following:

  • Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS)
  • Electroencephalography (EEG)
  • Polysomnography (sleep studies, home-based or in a sleep center)
  • Evoked potential tests (for multiple sclerosis)
  • Autonomic reflex testing (tilt table and sweat testing)
  • Neuroimaging (MRI, CT, ultrasound, PET, and SPECT)
  • Neuropsychological testing
Some of the tools we utilize for treatment include the following:

  • Pharmacologic therapies (oral medications)
  • Outpatient infusion therapies (IV medications), including migraine therapies, Multiple Sclerosis therapies, and IV immunoglobulin (IVIg)
  • Botulinum toxin therapies (Botox, Myobloc, Dysport, Xeomin)
  • Injection therapies (trigger point and nerve block injections)
  • Deep brain stimulation (DBS) therapies for Parkinson's Disease, Essential Tremor, and other disorders
  • Vagal Nerve Stimulation (VNS) therapies for seizure disorders
  • Ancillary health services (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, behavioral health and social services)
