Pamela Santamaria – M.D.

Dr. Santamaria grew up in Omaha and has worked in Omaha since the beginning of her practice in 2002. She founded Neurology Consultants of Nebraska in 2005.

Dr. Santamaria completed undergraduate training at University of Iowa, graduating with a BS in psychology, in 1993. She attended medical school at University of Iowa and received her doctorate of medicine, in 1998. She then completed her medical internship and neurology residency training, at the University of Utah, graduating in 2002.

Dr. Santamaria is a neurologist with broad interests in neurology. Her special interests include multiple sclerosis, and movement disorders, including the use of botulinum toxins and deep brain stimulation for treatment of neurological disorders. She provides EMG services and also manages vagal nerve stimulation (VNS) for epilepsy. She also is involved in Parkinson’s disease research. Dr. Santamaria provides neurological care to adults of all ages and to children 12 years of age and older.

Dr. Santamaria’s hobbies include spending time with family, skiing, pottery, and traveling.

Scott Goodman – M.D.

Dr. Goodman joined Neurology Consultants of Nebraska, in 2009. He grew up in Kansas City, MO. He worked as a neurologist in Kansas City for approximately 6 years from 2003-2009, first at the Headache and Pain Center in Leawood, KS, and then at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO. He moved to Omaha in 2009, in order to join Dr. Santamaria and because his wife is from Omaha.

Dr. Goodman is a general neurologist with broad interests in neurology. His special areas of interest include headache and pain medicine, the use of botulinum toxins for treatment of chronic migraine, multiple sclerosis and neuroimaging, and EMG and neuromuscular medicine. He provides EMG services and also manages vagal nerve stimulation (VNS) for epilepsy. Dr. Goodman provides neurological care to adults of all ages and to children 12 years of age and older. Dr. Goodman’s hobbies include spending time with family, music, theater and the fine arts, and traveling.

Chad Whyte – M.D.

Dr. Whyte joined Neurology Consultants of Nebraska, in 2011. He started his practice as a headache neurologist at Presbyterian Neurology Center in Charlotte, NC. He then moved to Omaha, in 2011, in order to join Neurology Consultants of Nebraska and because his wife is from Nebraska.

Dr. Whyte grew up in Marlboro, NJ. He completed undergraduate training at University of Miami in Miami, FL, graduating with a BS in biology, in 1998. He attended medical school at Ross University in Dominica, West Indies, and received his doctorate of medicine, graduating with high honors in 2004. He completed a medicine internship at Norwalk Hospital (affiliated with Yale University) in Norwalk, CT, in 2005, then completed neurology residency training at New Jersey Neuroscience Institute in Edison, NJ, graduating in 2008. He then completed a fellowship in headache medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH, graduating in 2009.

Dr. Whyte has special interest and expertise in the field of headache medicine. In addition to his general neurology board certification, Dr. Whyte is board certified in the subspecialty field of headache medicine. His other areas of interest include general neurology, dizziness and vestibular disorders, pain medicine and fibromyalgia. He also participates in neurological research and has published extensively in the field of headache medicine. Dr. Whyte provides neurological care to adults of all ages and to children 12 years of age and older.

Dr. Whyte’s hobbies include movies and spending time with family.

Jonathan Moravek – M.D.

Dr. Moravek joined Neurology Consultants of Nebraska, in 2014. He grew up in Alliance, NE. He worked for several years as a neurologist for the Methodist Physicians Clinic in Council Bluffs, IA, before joining Neurology Consultants in 2014.

Dr. Moravek completed undergraduate training at Duke University in Durham, NC, graduating in 1996 with a BS in psychology with focus in neurobiology. He attended medical school at University of Nebraska Medical Center, graduating in 2000. He completed a medical internship at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital (affiliated with University of Michigan) in Ypsilanti, MI, in 2001. He then completed neurology residency training at University of New Mexico, graduating in 2004, followed by a fellowship in EMG and neuromuscular disorders, graduating in 2005.

Dr. Moravek is a general neurologist with broad interests in neurology. He has special interest in EMG and neuromuscular disorders such as peripheral neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, and ALS. His other areas of special interest include multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. He provides EMG services and also manages vagal nerve stimulation (VNS) for epilepsy. Dr. Moravek provides neurological care to adults of all ages and to children 12 years of age and older.

Dr. Moravek’s hobbies include spending time with family, movies, and bicycle riding.

Katie Kesti – P.A.

Katie Kesti joined Neurology Consultants of Nebraska in 2020, after having completed a one month rotation with the practice as a part of her physician assistant studies during 2019.

Katie was born and raised in Red Wing, MN. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she was a Division I golfer and graduated summa cum laude with a BS degree in Neuroscience in 2016. She went on to complete the 28-month physician assistant program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, graduating in 2019.

Katie is board certified as a physician assistant in the State of Nebraska. She has broad interests in the field of neurology and provides neurological care to adults of all ages and to children 12 years of age and older.

Katie’s hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, golfing and traveling.

Lynn – Office Assistant

I have been with NCN since October 2014. I have been in the medical field in one capacity or another since 1984. All the employees are friendly and professional and make working here so enjoyable.

In my free time I love spending time with my family, especially my grandkids.

Kristina – LPN | Medication Access Specialist

I have been a nurse for over 20 years and with NCN since September 2012. My experience includes Hospital and Community Health prior to Healthcare. I earned my Associates Degree in Education. Since starting at NCN in 2012, I have been recruited by pharmaceutical companies to educate staff, pharmacies, and other clinics to help navigate insurance and medications approved for patients.

I enjoy my time at NCN. I built friendships and trusting relationships with patients. For fun, I enjoy family time, relaxing in my pool and reading insurance policies. I look forward to many more opportunities with NCN.

Tammy – Billing Specialist

I have had the privilege of working at Neurology Consultants of Nebraska for over 10 years. I have been a part of the practice’s growth with new providers and staff to me the needs of our patients. It has been my pleasure to work for the providers and patients to resolve financial issues.

I enjoy reading, gardening, embroidery and walking in my spare time as well as spending time with my family and friends.

I started in November 2017. I have worked as a Medical Assistant since 1999 in Family Practice. I enjoy the daily challenges that Neurology has to offer. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family.
